As an occupational therapist, and a massage therapist,
I create individualized therapy for those of all ages: infants, children, adults, and the elderly.
I have had over 20 years of experience treating those who have experienced or have been diagnosed with chronic pain, migraine headaches, physical and emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, autistic spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders, sensory integration dysfunction, developmental disabilities, and other issues.
As your therapist, I create a safe environment to allow the body to heal during during the session. Often you will continue to process and heal after your treatment session has concluded.
At the Aslan Institute, I offer a unique opportunity for you to receive collaboration or cotreatment with another Aslan practitioner (psychologists, life coaches, spiritual directors) to create a synergy of healing. It is rare for physical pain to be completely separate from emotional pain; often they are interrelated. Combining therapies in this way allows you to move past physical and/or emotional obstacles that would normally take a longer time to heal.
